Selection refers

Recruitment Vs. Selection.
While recruitment and selection are both important steps in hiring candidates for open positions, there are some key differences between these two processes. Some of the biggest differences include:

- Number of Candidates - In the recruitment stage, the number of candidates increases, whereas in the selection stage, the number of candidates decreases.
- Order of steps - Recruitment is one of the first steps in the hiring process, whereas selection is one of the last steps.
- Resource commitment - Recruitment typically requires minimal time and money, whereas selection is a more involved process that can be more time-consuming and expensive.

Selecting the right employee
for an organisation is very important. Whether internal or external, choosing
the correct employee for the specific job is crucial.The HRM department is the
correct department for the correct process. The recruitment process can be
integrated with the technology with less human involvement. This way the

If it is not done effectively and in appropriate manner than it will directly affect the future growth and success of the organization.

While HR works in many areas including employee engagement, employee development, statutory compliance, data management and many others, one of the key areas of focus for HR is to attract, select and onboard suitable candidates for the organization.

ReplyDeleteAll HRM do the recruitment process as per their plan, but during selection process. they play around giving priority for their own desire or once a candidate, whom they wanted, is selected still they calling people to face the interview process and wasting their time. I have personal experience in this regards. When we ask about this they say just for the sake of procedure they must interview at least certain number of candidates.
